The Interactive Physics Modules
Students can study the Physical Characteristics of the World's Oceans section at a time and then write a 2 paragraph paper, save it on the desktop, and then send it to me via e-mail.
Students will be able to explain and describe what happens in the "Water Cycle". They will be able to describe how waves are created. Students will be able to name and describe 3 different marine animal groups of the sea.
Students can explain how scientists collect data and information about the oceans. Students will write a report using correct grammar and spelling and send to me via e-mail. Once they have finished the written work they may build a PowerPoint presentation about their report.
LEARN ABOUT THE WATER CYCLE - Watch the video about the Water Cycle - Water Cycle and then take the Quiz1 or Quiz2 and see how you do. Next, try to answer Where does the water go?. How do you remember the "Water Cycle"? Sing the song!!!!
This week students will study about Scientists who have explored the oceans. One scientists is Jacques Cousteau. Students will look up more scientists "of the sea" and write short reports about one of them. Once they have written the report using correct grammar and spelling they will learn to build a basic website and put this information on the page.
Students can learn the Secrets of the Ocean Realm.
Students can select a Caribbean Fish to study about from the list of videos, research the sea creature and then write an illustrated story about the creature using photos, captions and a bibliography about the subject of their choice. This link will show you the correct way to format the citation.
