The 2009-2010 Frederick Middle School Student Council earned "Honor Council" at the State Convention and were elected State Vice-President.

Student Council Elections for 2010-2011

5th -7th grade may sign up to run April 19-30
Officer poster may be hung May 10th - 19th
Elections are at 10:00 in Fine Arts, May 19th

ELECTION RULES:
Students running for FMS Student Council nust have a 2.0 average (C average) and NO F's at all.
To run for an office in the FMS Student Council, you must have been in Student Council at least one year prior.
President and/or Vice-President is open for those going into 8th grade only.
Those sunning for an office will give a 2 minute speech and 2 minute skit involving 1 to 3 other people.
All speeches, skits, and music must be approved by Mrs. Howard by May 7th.

DATES TO REMEMBER:

Please ask your parents to come to a parent meeting on Monday, September 28th at 6:30 in Mrs. Howard's room to discuss the State Student Council Convention. The dates for the convention are November 5 & 6th (we leave the afternoon of the 4th)


Monday, November 2 is the date for the Middle School spaghetti supper. The Student Council usually helps with this.

Valentine's Sales Feb. 3-9 - delivery on 10th

Spring Dance: Friday, March 5 7:30-10:00

Aloha Dance: Thursday, May 13th 7:30-10:30

Fun Day: Thurs. May 20th

We will have other meeting times after school to prepare for convention elections should they choose to run, to decorate for dances, etc.
