Special Meeting

3:30 p.m. November 10, 2010

Felisha Crawford called the meeting to order. Board members present were Felisha Crawford, Vinson Orr, Kristi Walker, Bob Reid and James Heap. Staff officers of the board present were Superintendent O’Brien, Patty Blankenship—Business Manager, Glenda Longacre—Minutes Clerk, Pat Kent—School Attorney.

The board heard discussion concerning the Qualified School Construction Bond Process. They approved proceeding with applying for QSCB money in the amount of $7.5 million.

The board then discussed and prioritized possible bond projects for the next bond cycle. The top priority was a renovation of Prather Brown Center to include a new roof and extra classroom space to be added on to be able to divest the district of portable buildings.

The meeting was then adjourned.
